Spring 2010 Class Schedule (pdf)

The Academy of Foot Zone Therapy (AFZ) offers a complete training and certification program.  The curriculum is thorough and uses a newly published text book series.  AFZ offers training that can provide a new career, additional income and cutting edge alternative health care.  Each class is three days and approximately 18 hours. Class requirements include the ability to participate fully in all training, completion of the review books and application of practice foot zones.  These requirements must be fulfilled before starting the subsequent class.  Class size is limited so reserve a spot in class with a $100.00 non-refundable deposit.  Visa and Mastercard are accepted for most classes.  Each instructor will handle things a little differently, see our Resources and List of Instructors for contact information.

Intro to Zone

This three day introduction class provides the foundation for learning the Foot Zone Therapy technique.  The class also presents the establishment and history of Foot Zoning.  You will learn the “Body Map” on the foot and discover the relationship of the map to your physical body. Upon completion of this class the students will have the knowledge of how to apply a total Foot Zone applicaiton, following a flip chart as well as an understanding of what the message in the feet are telling you.

Second Class - ENDOCRINE & DIGESTIVE SYSTEMS

This in-depth class studies the ENDOCRINE and DIGESTIVE SYSTEMS, their functions, ways we can strengthen them and repair past damage.  During this class you will learn specific placement and treatment of the Endocrine and Digestive organs and what you are feeling as you treat these areas of the feet.  You will learn to assess what the feet are telling you about the condition of the body.  You will learn about which hormones are created and how they affect the body as a whole and how food is processed to nourish the body.

Third Class - STRUCTURAL & NERVOUS SYSTEMS

This in-depth class studies the STRUCTURAL and NERVOUS SYSTEMS, their functions, ways we can strengthen them and repair past damage.  During this class you will learn specific foot  placement and treatment of the Structural and Nervous system organs and what you are feeling as you treat these areas of the feet.  You will learn to listen to what the feet are telling you about the overall condition of the body.  You will learn about the bones and muscles that give structure to our bodies as well as the signals that provide communication.

Fourth Class - EXECRETORY & CIRCULATION SYSTEMS

Cost $550.00

This in-depth class studies the EXCRETORY (Elimination) and CIRCULATION SYSTEMS, their functions, ways we can strengthen them and repair past damage.  During this class you will learn specific placement and treatment of the Excretory and Circulation organs and what you are feeling as you treat these areas of the feet.  You will learn to listen to what the feet are telling you about the condition of the body.  You will learn the importance of detoxification to the   body and how proper circulation can provide rejuvenation to the body.

FINAL EXAM

The Final exam is also offered to “CERTIFY” that you have completed the entire class and can demonstrate an understanding of the information.  The exam consists of a review, a test, a hands-on quiz and a brief oral review with the instructor.

RETAKING CLASSES

Once a class is completed and paid for, students may retake the class for $50.00 (first come basis).  AFZ recently published revised text books and are available for purchase.
